Thank you!

'This Van Can' has come to an end but we're grateful to every single person who came along...

Wow...
What a few months it is has been.
Our vision here at the Dianne Oxberry Trust is that at some point in the future, no-one in the North West will die of ovarian cancer. It's a big ambition, we know, but at the heart of it is that we want to help improve the rate of early diagnosis - which has been proven to ensure more positive outcomes.
So, getting out and about and shouting loudly about the symptoms of ovarian cancer with our Spread the Word campaign has been something we've been doing for a few years now.
But, over the last month or so, we've also been on the road, literally driving up interest and awareness, thanks to the 'This Van Can' roadshow - complete with our lovely Dianne on the side of the vehicle!
A proud partnership between our charity, the NHS and Target Ovarian Cancer, we've been bringing the awareness roadshow to the streets of Greater Manchester.
The mobile information unit also featured Dr Charlotte Badescu, 34, and Hilary Morrison, 64, who have both had ovarian cancer and been successfully treated, as well as NHS consultant gynaecologist Dr Nadia Ali-Ross from Greater Manchester Cancer Alliance.
The van kicked off its tour in Sale (Dianne's home town) at the end of February and has been on the road ever since, right through Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month in March. It has visited all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester, and most importantly, has seen many, many people popping by to say hello, take part in a range of activities, and learn more about ovarian cancer and the signs and symptoms to look out for.
Thank you to everyone who has come along and to the NHS and Target Ovarian Cancer too. It's been such an exciting initiative and we're looking forward to planning the next stages of our Spread the Word campaign to make sure we can reach out to even more people right across the North West.
Watch this space!
And, if you have any ideas on how we can Spread the Word, if you can help us share the signs and symptoms where you live, or in your business or community, or if you're able to make a donation to support our work, we'd love to hear from you: info@dianneoxberrytrust.org
